Kelly studied Fine Arts at the University of Newcastle majoring in Ceramics, before completing Post Graduate studies in Education. She has taught Visual Arts (and many other subjects) for over 20 years.
Kelly holds a Certificate in Youth Work and worked in the Social Services sector as a Youth and Family worker. Kelly has studied Art Therapy and is experienced at working with young people with diverse needs. She is calm, caring and knows how to have fun! She has a current Working with Children Check and RSA.
Kelly started Lake House Clay & Art Studio to share her love of clay and creativity, as a bonus, she also shares her beautiful studio space at Coal Point. Justin may also make an appearance from time to time, especially when anything techy needs fixing!
Justin is Kelly’s husband and partner in crime and creativity. Justin is also a trained artist, completing a Fine Arts Degree in Printmaking at the University of Newcastle.
Justin worked in the Art Supply Industry and in Regional Art Galleries before completing a Masters in Education. He currently works in Education, holds a Certificate in Youth Work and a current Working with Children Check.
The best bit: Lake House Studio has two resident (and super cute) dogs; Spud and Cassie. They are occasionally allowed to make an appearance, as they are super friendly and don't always know - no....
