In the rare event that a session is cancelled, the ticket purchaser will be notified via email or text message with as much notice as possible prior to their session scheduled start time. Ticket purchasers will be offered a reschedule to another upcoming session, a studio credit to the value of their purchase for future use or a refund. Lake House is a small solo studio, so although I’d like to say this will never happen, it could. I do have people that would generally step in for me though!
Lake House Clay and Art Studio has integrity. If you have extreme circumstances within the above cancellation times, contact us and we will do what we can to sort something out!
Extreme Circumstances
If a person wishes to cancel an event, Lake House Clay and Art Studio must be notified at least 21 days prior to the event. Cancellation after this date will result in loss of deposit.
With cancellation outside the 21 days, we will work with you to reschedule your event, however, all events are subject to availability.
We require this as this allows enough time for your event to be replaced.
Events
If a person wishes to cancel their participation in a workshop, Lake House Clay and Art Studio must be notified at least 14 days prior to the workshop. Cancellation after this date will result in loss of deposit.
With cancellation outside the 14 days, we will work with you to reschedule the workshops, however, all workshops are subject to availability.
We require this time, as this allows enough time for your place at the workshop to be replaced. Any requests after this time will not be Rescheduled or Refunded.
Workshops
If a person wishes to cancel their participation in a set of classes, Lake House Clay and Art Studio must be notified at least 14 days prior to the initial start date of the classes. Cancellation after this date will result in loss of deposit.
If a student misses an individual Term Class, we will do our best to work with you to try and find a solution, but we do not guarantee it will be replaced. If we can find a solution it must be before the start of the next term. Unfortunately, some missed classes may be forfeited, however, we will do what we can to allow you to ‘make up’ the class. (The term has a set structure to make sure that you have completed pieces by the end of the course and to allow time for drying and firing).
